Toofan Harirod Beats Shaheen Asmayee 2-0

Thousands of football fans on Friday gathered to watch the exhilarating match between Shaheen Asmayee and rival team Toofan Harirod at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) stadium. Toofan Harirod beat Shaheen Asmayee 2-0.

Shaheen Asmayee, from the central region, came up against strong rival Harirod Toofan at 3:30 pm in the second game of this year's Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL).

Toofan Harirod demonstrated an aggressive game from the beginning and were on form throughout the match.

The two teams failed to score in the first half of the game. In the second half, in the 73rd minute, Toofan Harirod's Fardin Hakimi scored the first goal.

The second goal came minutes later from Rafiullah Barakzai after receiving a beautiful pass from Rahmatullah Rahimi.

"We gained a lot of experience from the second and third leagues, but we want to become the champions," said Sayed Moeen Hamidi, Toofan Harirod's coach.

"75 percent of our players are youths, they are energetic and strong, we are here to become champions," said Mujtaba Faiz, Shaheen Asmayee's coach.

"We were fully prepared for the game," said Hashmatollah Barakzai, from Shaheen Asmayee.

"I congratule the western zone in their victory, we are very happy to win the game," said Toofan Harirod's Rahmatollah Rahimi.
