1395 solar year was littered with political rifts and tension between the leaders of the National Unity Government (NUG).
 
In the initial days of 1395, President Ashraf Ghani’s CEO Abdullah Abdullah severely criticized the president for attempts to monopolize power and posed serious questions on the governance in Afghanistan.

The rift remained in place for months between the two officials, but later Atta Mohammad Noor, the governor of Balkh province, announced that he is breaking alliance with Abdullah and instead continuing his negotiations with the president.
