The US Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Bob Corker said on Sunday that American troops will remain in Afghanistan for at least another decade.

Corker said Afghanistan’s situation shows that the country needs the US forces for another 10 years.

Meanwhile a number of MPs said if the long-term presence of US troops in Afghanistandoes not bring stability in the country, then their presence is not a need.
