Pashto Singer Zarsanga Injured During Dispute Over Money

Popular Pashto singer Zarsanga and her two sons were wounded during a dispute at their house in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, Dawn News reported.
 
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when five men entered their house in Azakhel Bala village of Nowshera district.
 
According to police a dispute over money led to the assault.
 
Azakhel police station officials said once they have received the medical report they will register the case.
 
Dawn News reported that the five suspects had been arrested but were released on bail of 50,000 Rupees each.
 
Police said both parties registered complaints against each other and that some of the suspects had also been wounded in the incident.
 
According to police, the group of men reportedly went to Zarsanga’s house to collect money owed to them by her sons.
 
A brawl between both parties ensued.
 
Dawn News reported that Zarsanga and her sons were taken to hospital for treatment but later discharged.  

Zarsanga and her sons told media that they were beaten by the men whom were demanding money.
 
Zarsanga’s son Shehzad said his younger brother had borrowed money from the group of men.
 
Shehzad said his brother had however repaid the loan but the group had demanded more interest.  
 
Zarsanga confirmed they had borrowed 500,000 Pakistani rupees from the group but called on police to help solve the problem.
