10 Taliban Insurgents Lay Down Arms, Join Peace Process

At least 10 Taliban insurgents have laid down their arms and joined the peace process in eastern Nangarhar province, Nangarhar NDS said Wednesday.
 
According to an NDS statement “the group was involved in destructive and terrorist activities in Khogyani district.”
 
The group was led by Ismail known us Fawad, the statement added.
 
“The group handed over five AK-47 weapons, two pistols, an RPG and an amount of ammunition,” it added.
