Afghan Army forces conducted several airstrikes in the past 24 hours and at least 42 insurgents including Daesh militants were killed.
42 Daesh And Taliban Fighters Killed In Afghan Airstrikes
At least 42 Daesh militants and Taliban insurgents were killed in the past 24 hours during Afghan air raids in different parts of the country, the Ministry of Defense said.
According to the ministry seven Taliban members were killed and six were wounded in Afghan forces airstrikes in Garmsir, Grishk and Nad Ali districts of Helmand province.
Two bases and two vehicles were destroyed during the air raids, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, the ministry said during another ANA airstrike in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province at least 15 insurgents were killed,16 wounded and weapons and vehicles were destroyed.
In addition, 20 Daesh militants were killed in a separate ANA airstrike in Darzab district of Jowzjan province and their vehicles and weapons destroyed.
No more details were provided by the MoD and Taliban has not commented about the operations.
