At least 10 Taliban militants were killed and six others were wounded in Afghan forces airstrikes in northern Faryab province on Monday, the Shaheen 209 Corps said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, three airstrikes were carried out on Taliban’s hideouts in Dawlat Abad district in Faryab province.
No harm was inflicted to civilians during the airstrikes, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the statement added that at least 15 civilians, including children, were wounded in Almar district in Faryab when a Taliban rocket hit their home.
Taliban has rejected the remarks.
