Five NDS Employees Killed in Parwan ‘Terrorist Attack’

At least five National Directorate of Security (NDS) staff members were killed in a “terrorist attack” in northern Parwan province on Wednesday, local officials confirmed on Thursday.

The incident happened about 1pm local time in Ko Toop area of Bagram district after insurgents ambushed the NDS members in their vehicle, district governor of Bagram Abdul Shookor Qoudosi said.

“The attack happened when the employees of NDS were in a vehicle on their way home and unknown gunmen attacked them,” Qoudosi said.

However, he did not provide further details about the attack.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
