A senior official from Farah said four Taliban commanders have been killed in drone strikes carried out by foreign forces in different parts of the province during the last week.
Farah Governor Abdul Basir Salangi said Mullah Bari Jan, a Taliban commander, who was involved in 300 murders and attacks, was killed in a drone strike in Khak Safid district.
He said that Mullah Hanzala, Mullah Mukhlis and Mullah Abdul Salam, including 30 Taliban fighters, were killed in three separate drone strikes in different parts of the province during this week.
Taliban has rejected the claims.
