“Every day of his life and every activities of him (Rabbani) who fought for 50 years and more than that is a lesson and many anecdots,” said.

“Professor Rabbani and Ahmad Shah Massoud were always saying that do not lose your will,” said Massoud Khalili, former Afghan ambassador in Spain .

Burhannudin Rabbani was the leader of Jamiat Islami of Afghanistan and the head of the High Peace Council before his death.

Rabbani was assassinated in a suicide bombing at his residence in Wazir Akbar Khan area in Kabul on September 20, 2011.
