Unknown gunmen attacked a guesthouse in PD7 in Darulaman Road area in Kabul on Saturday night killing a security guard and a German woman.

A second woman, a Finnish national, is missing, possibly kidnapped, officials said early Sunday.

The two woman reportedly worked for Operation Mercy, a Swedish relief and development organization.

The incident took place at about 11pm on Saturday night in Ayoub Khan Mena area in PD7 when armed attackers stormed the house.

TOLOnews journalist, Anisa Shahid, who is at the scene, says National Directorate of Security (NDS) forces are at the house and carrying investigations. 

The identities of the two killed and the Finnish woman have not been released.
