Meanwhile Iran's top military commander on Tuesday said the United States is transferring Daesh to Afghanistan now that the terrorists have lost their strongholds in Iraq and Syria.

"After witnessing Daesh and other organized terrorist groups losing their ground in Iraq and Syria, they are now relocating them to Afghanistan," which has become the scene of fresh explosions, assassinations and crimes,” Press TV reported, quoting Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri,

But, US officials also accuse the Iran of supporting the militant groups.

In his telephonic conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, President Rouhani said that the US deployed its forces in Afghanistan under the pretext of bringing peace and stability in Afghanistan, but the country continue to suffer from extensive security threats.

“Iran is ready for advisory and security cooperation, Iran is ready to help Afghanistan in combatting terrorism if the Afghan government makes such a request,” Rouhani told reporters in Tehran.
On February 4, The Iranian defense minister said the US is transferring Daesh to Afghanistan to justify its military presence in the country following heavy blows dealt to the militant group in Syria and Iraq.

"Iran has always been concerned about conspiracies hatched by outsiders against the Afghan people and has for many years done its best to ameliorate the suffering of the oppressed people of Afghanistan," said Iranian defense minister Amir Hatami.

The Iranian officials went on to say that recent attacks in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul indicate that the security is deteriorating in the country which is backed by the US.

US has dismissed the allegations.

This comes as the US has relocated dozens of its soldiers including some heavy weapons from Iraq to Afghanistan to use them against the militant groups.
