11 Members Of One Family Killed In Helmand Rocket Attack

Officials confirmed on Friday that 11 members of one family, including eight men and three women, were killed when a rocket hit their house in Sangin district on Thursday night. 
 
Mohammad Karim Atal, head of Helmand’s provincial council said the incident happened Thursday night in Mata Langa area of Sangin district - a district under Taliban control.
 
According to Atal, it is not known who fired the rocket – he said they did not know if the source was insurgents, security forces or foreign troops. 
 
Meanwhile, Zafar 215 Military Corps has said it will investigate the incident.
