At least seven people, including six women and a child, were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Khogyani district in the eastern province of Nangarhar on Thursday, the provincial governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said. 

The incident happened in Khoghyani while the civilians were travelling to a wedding party and their vehicle hit a roadside bomb, Khogyani said.

The wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blat.
