Suicide Bomber Targets Govt Employees In Kabul

A suicide bomber on a motorbike targeted a bus carrying employees of the Ministry of Mines in Kabul on Thursday morning, killing five people and wounding 10 others, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Nusrat Rahimi said.

The attack took place at 8:10 am Kabul time, Rahimi said, adding that “another explosion also reported after the suicide attack.”

No group including the Taliban immediately claimed responsibly for the blast.

A spokesman for Ministry of Interior, Nusrat Rahimi, said another explosion happened in Pul-e-Charkhi area in Kabul.

At least seven people were killed and 21 others wounded in multiple explosions in Kabul on Thursday morning, the Ministry of Public Health’s spokesman Wahidullah Mayar said.
