Taliban Ammunition Cache Found In Parwan

A huge ammunition cache belonged to Taliban militants was discovered in a special operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Parwan province, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in a statement on Saturday. 

The NDS said the operation was conducted in the Bagram district.
 
Taliban wanted to use the weapons and explosives to target Bagram Airfield and carry out terrorist attacks in Parwan, Kabul and Kapisa provinces, NDS statement said. 
 
The NDS statement said 1,150 kilograms of ammonium nitrate were seized during the operation. 

According to the statement, terrorist groups use ammonium nitrate for making landmines mines.
