Three ANP Soldiers Killed In Two Faryab Incidents

At least three Afghan National Police (ANP) soldiers were killed in two separate incidents in Faryab province on Sunday, local officials said Monday. 

Safar Mohammad, a security official from Faryab province, said a police soldier was killed in a clash with Taliban on the Dawlat Abad-Qaramqol highway in the Qaramqol district and one other was wounded. 

According to Safar, in a separate incident, two ANA personnel, including Qaramqol’s district deputy director of the criminal department, were killed and one other soldier was wounded in a roadside bomb – in Qaramqol district.  

Safar said electricity was also cut to the area during the clashes.
