At least three civilians were killed and two others were injured in a blast in southern Zabul province on Sunday, local police officials said.

The blast took place in Shinkai district of the province after a motorcycle hit a roadside mine, according to officials.

The injured people were taken to a nearby hospital.

No group including the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the blast.
