At least three civilians were killed after a rocket landed on a house in the central province of Maidan Wardak, said Nusrat Rahimi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, and one civilian was wounded.

Rahimi said in a tweet on Friday that the incident happened in the Narkh district of Wardak, and that the rocket was fired by the Taliban.

According to Rahimi, all the victims are members of one family.

The Taliban has not commented on the incident so far.
