At least nine civilians were killed and 15 others were wounded in a traffic accident in Farsi district in Herat province on Saturday, the provincial governor’s spokesman Jailani Farhad said.

Farhad said the incident happened at around 12pm on Saturday when a truck rolled from the main road in Nakhod Siyah village in Farsi district. 

He said most of the victims were youths.
