US Forces Convoy Attacked In Parwan

A convoy of foreign forces was targeted by a car bomb explosion near Bagram Airfield in Sayyad district, Parwan Province, on Friday evening, but the incident had no casualties, the provincial police chief Mohammad Mahfooz Walizada said.  

Mr. Walizada said the incident happened at around 10:30 pm on Friday in which an explosives-laden vehicle was detonated in front of a foreign forces convoy which was patrolling in the area.

He said that no civilian has been hurt in the incident.

A spokesman for US forces in Afghanistan, Col. Sonny Leggett confirmed the incident but said there was no casualties or injures to US or Coalition forces.

Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
