The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development say that in the next two years all the country's villagers will have access to clean drinking water.

The ministry said that over the past four years, the ministry has spent more than 4 billion AFs in this sector and as a result, rural residents who have access to clean drinking water increased from 27 percent to 63 percent.
