BAZAR: Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan Trade Commission

Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Furqat Sidikov said his country would like to see a trilateral trade commission comprising Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan established in order to promote trade, logisticsand investment, according to Pakistan’s The Nation.

Already, Uzbekistan has extended its railway line up to Mazar-e-Sharif, capital of norther Balkh province in Afghanistan and it wants to extend the same line through to Torkham border, along the Durand Line, to facilitate trade with Pakistan, Sidikov said.
