BAZAR: Increase in Female Business Owners Discussed

New figures by Afghanistan Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industries (AWCCI) shows that 1,150 female entrepreneurs have invested in different businesses in the country over the past 18 years.

The figures show that investments made by women reach more than $77 million.

According to statistics, 300 women entrepreneurs have started businesses in the last year alone.

The figures indicate that investments made by women have provided jobs for 77,000 individuals across the country.
