The war between Taliban and security forces that started in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Farah province is still ongoing. 

Security departments however say that they have pushed the Taliban back from Farah city and the group has suffered heavy losses. 

Footage published in social media shows that the Taliban killed soldiers after seizing a number of check posts. 

Public uprising forces however sharply blasted government over not receiving reinforcements early enough. 

The interior ministry has so far confirmed the death of six soldiers.
