Officials from peoples’ councils in Dasht-e-Barchi in west of Kabul on Monday said due to the increase in insecurity in the recent months, they have been forced to take up arms to maintain security at their gatherings, especially mosques. 

They said security forces are unable to maintain security and they are now patrolling day and night.
