Indonesian President Joko Widodo has arrived at the Presidential Palace where he was met by President Ashraf Ghani early Monday afternoon. 

Widodo touched down earlier in the day at Hamid Karzai International Airport after ending a two-day visit to Bangladesh. 

This is the first state visit of an Indonesian president to Afghanistan since that of former President Soekarno in 1961.
