While the US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation is still debating peace with the Taliban in Doha, sources familiar with these talks have said that the two sides this time will talk about a timeline for troops withdraw and the reduction of violence in the country.

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in a meeting with Australian Defense Minister Linda Reynolds in Sydney reiterated that the US President Donald Trump is seeking a political solution which will pave the ground for troop reduction in Afghanistan.
