The Independent Election Commission (IEC) has finalized the draft budget for the September 28 presidential elections based on which, the polls will cost $140 million. 

The IEC has also purchased 25,000 biometric identification devices while the figure was around 22,000 for 21,000 voting centers during the October 20 parliamentary elections.
