The Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan (RS) on Sunday said NATO will play no role in Afghanistan’s October 20 parliamentary elections and will remain neutral.

RS spokesman Colonel Knut Peters made the remarks at a joint press conference in Kabul with the spokesmen of the ministries of interior and defense. Together they briefed media on maintaining election security.
