The Taliban on Wednesday launched a coordinated attack from multiple directions on Jaghori district of central Ghazni province.

According to interior ministry, fierce battles are on going between government forces and Taliban fighters.

Initial reports indicate at least six members of the Afghan National Police (ANP) have been wounded so far in the fighting.
