At least 10 Taliban fighters were killed in foreign forces-backed airstrikes conducted by Afghan forces in Ghazni province on Friday, the provincial governor’s office said in a statement on Saturday.
The statement says two airstrikes were conducted in the province which both targeted Taliban hideout in Andar district in Ghazni.
The statement added that 11 militants were arrested in another operation by Afghan special forces in Andar district.
No casualty was inflicted to Afghan forces and civilians during the operations and the airstrikes, the statement read.
Taliban has not commented on the report.
