11 Civilians Freed From Taliban Jail In Helmand

At least 11 civilians were freed from Taliban’s prison in Helmand during an Afghan special forces operation in Sangin district of the province, the 215 Maiwand Corps said in a statement on Saturday.

The statement said the operation was conducted on Friday in Sangin district in Helmand.

The statement said there was no civilian or military casualties in the operation. 

Taliban has not commented on the report.
