Helmand Car Bomb Leaves Two Dead

At least two Afghan National Army soldiers were killed in a car bomb early Sunday morning in Helmand province, local officials said. 
 
Four other ANA soldiers were wounded in the blast, officials said. 
 
Provincial governor spokesman Omar Zowak confirmed the incident said the blast occurred around 7am local time in Sheren Jan area of Nad Ali district when a suicide bomber detonated a Mazda vehicle laden with explosives close to an army base. 
 
However security sources said that at least 16 soldiers were killed and wounded in the blast. 
 
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
