Officials from the Central Bank say that in the past few years 130,000 people have opened Islamic Amanat accounts at different banks and collectively hold more than 11 billion AFs in these accounts. 

Meanwhile, bank officials say that one bank in the country will soon get an exclusive license to be an Islamic Bank.
