BAZAR: Media Companies Owe Millions In Unpaid Fees

The Afghan Journalists Federation says that 238 million Afghanis in tax penalties, and fines for failing to renew broadcasting and frequency licenses by media companies have been written off by government but that the outstanding amounts owed must be paid back by these companies over seven years. 

In addition, Breshna enterprises says that state-run media organizations owe more than 200 million Afghanis for electricity.
