FARAKHABAR: Trump, Imran Khan’s Tweets Discussed

US President Donald Trump and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan trolled each other on Twitter on Monday.

Following a Fox News interview over the weekend in which Trump accused Pakistan of hiding Osama bin Laden and berated it for not doing a “damn thing” for the US, Imran Khan pushed back on Monday tweeting, “Instead of making Pakistan a scapegoat for their failures, the US should do a serious assessment of why, despite 140,000 NATO troops plus 250,000 Afghan troops and reportedly $1 trillion spent on war in Afghanistan, the Taliban today are stronger than before.”

In this episode of Farakhabar, host Massoud Malik discusses the topic with the following guests:

Mubarez Rashidi, the former counter narcotics minister

Fardin Hashimi, international relations affairs analyst
