MEHWAR: Sub-standard Clinic Situation Discussed

Minister of Public Health admits that a number of sub-standard private hospitals in Kabul, which have been ordered closed by the Ministry, are still operating.
 
The Minister of Public Health Ferozuddin Feroz said that more than 50 private clinics in Kabul have been ordered closed by the minister after a ministerial review found them to be violation of health codes. 

Some of these clinics’ officials have been introduced to the attorney general. However many of these clinics are owned by powerful figures and the law has not been implemented against them. These clinics are still open for business.
