Afghan President Ashraf Ghani spent the weekend in China where he attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.  

The president’s spokesman said that during his visit Ghani was expected to discuss the fight against terrorism, concerns among neighboring countries over the spread of insecurity in Afghanistan, and business-related matters with member countries.
