In this program, host Jamalnaser Farahmand discusses the recent rift between government and Jamiat-e-Islami Party of Afghanistan with Ekram Masumi, head of Jamiat-e-Islami Solidary Council.

The rift between government and Jamiat increased after Presidential Palace announced that President Ashraf Ghani has accepted the resignation of Atta Mohammad Noor as Balkh governor. Noor later announced that he will stay in the position until the discussions between government and Jamiat are finalized. 

Members of the solidarity council of Jamiat met with President Ghani last year in December to talk the government-Jamiat tension.
