Spanta Discusses Karzai’s Era of Politics in His New Book
Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta, reflects on the former President Hamid Karzai’s era in his new book ‘Afghanistan Politics; A Narrative From Within’
Dr. Rangin Dadfar Spanta has served in key positions in the post-9/11 era in Afghanistan in the government of former president Hamid Karzai. In the post-Taliban Afghanistan, Spanta served as Karzai’s advisor on international affairs, chairman of the National Security Council (NSC) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
Over the past three years, Spanta has worked on the 1,000 page book in which he has talked about the politics in Afghanistan in the Karzai government.
In this interview, host Lotfullah Najafizada discusses the different aspects of politics in the country in the post-Taliban Afghanistan that has been reflected in the book.
