President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday said Afghanistan has achieved national and regional consensus on the issue of peace in Afghanistan.

According to Ghani, in the past, Afghans waited for others to do something about attaining stability in the country, but now they are using their own initiative to achieve peace.

Faryab protestors on Wednesday said they had closed a number of government offices in Maimana city and vowed to continue their demonstrations until government accepts their demands.

The protestors told TOLOnews that they had closed the court, the attorney general’s office, and the departments of rural development, justice and agriculture.
