Sources from the leadership team of Jamiat-e-Islami party have said they were not included in the talks where an agreement was reached between government and the former Balkh governor Atta Mohammad Noor.

The Afghan government on Thursday raised concerns about remarks made by the head of the National Solidarity Movement of Afghanistan, Sayed Ishaq Gailani, and said his statements had not been in the interests of Afghanistan.
