Tuesday marked one year since the launch of the US’s strategy for Afghanistan and South-Asia.

Despite hopes that this strategy would reduce the level of violence, Afghanistan has in recent months seen a spike in attacks across the country.

The Afghan Ministry of Defense however says that in line with this strategy, the Afghan security forces, especially the Afghan Air Force (AAF), has received more equipment.
