The defending champions Shaheen Asmayee defeated Oqaban Hindukush on the second day of the eighth season of Afghanistan Premier League.

Shaneen is representing the capital, Kabul, while Oqaban represents the central provinces, including Kapisa, Parwan, and Bamiyan.

Shaheen got three points by defeating Oqaban with the only goal of the match hit by Amanullah Sardari.

The first goal of the match was scored by Amanullah Sardari in 37th of the match.

Shaneen had an upper hand in terms of attacks and counterattacks in the second half as well but it could not score the second goal.

The first match of the APL was held between Toofan Harirod and Simorgh Alborz. The match ended 1-0 in Toofan Harirod’s favor.
