Toofan Harirod from the western zone of the country entered the Afghan Premier League (APL) final after a 2-0 win against De Spinghar Bazan in a thrilling match on Thursday evening.

The match was started with full strength by Toofan and created many chances, but it was Maroof Mohammadi who scored the first goal in the 18th minute of the match.

The two teams had many opportunities to score a goal but they were not succeeded.

The first half ended 1-0 in favor of Toofan Harirod.

The second half started with full strength by defending champions Toofan Harirod which helped them to score their first goal in 47th minute of the match by Bazan’s goalkeeper after they were under immense pressure by their rivals.

At the end of the match, Toofan Harirod’s management received a warning for breaching code of conduct during the match.

The second semi-final match will be held on Friday between Shaheen Asmayee and Simorgh Alborz.

The match will kick off at 6 pm Kabul time.
