Almost 50 delegates from Afghanistan and 17 representatives of the Taliban have attended a two-day conference on Afghan peace in Doha which started on Sunday.

Addressing reporters, US Special Envoy Zalmay Khalilzad said the conference is a good opportunity for Afghans to discuss their future.
