MEHWAR: Presidential Candidates Process Discussed
Sayed Noorullah Jalili registered on Thursday as the third candidate who will run as president in Afghanistan’s upcoming presidential elections scheduled on July 20.
There is no other option to improve the current situation of the country, Jalili told media after completing his registration as presidential candidate at the Independent Election Commission (IEC).
The IEC meanwhile said it expects more personalities to register as presidential candidates next week.
Jalili has picked Khalil Roman as his first vice president and Cheragh Ali Cheragh as second vice president.
Jalili said that if he secures office of the president in the elections, he will take solid programs towards reviving Afghanistan’s deteriorating security and will improve the national economy.
In this episode host Sadaf Amiri discusses the topic with Fazl Ahmad Manawi former IEC chief.
