The Ministry of Higher Education has digitalized the degree verification system for oversees students. 

According to the ministry, this verification process is part of their efforts to improve transparency. 

Based on statistics of the Ministry of Higher Education, since 2001, more than 15,800 students abroad are registered at higher education institutions in the country.
