Local officials said Pakistan has fired more than 5,000 rockets at Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan in the past six months, forcing hundreds of families to flee.

Officials said many homes have been destroyed in the ongoing attack along the Durand Line – the disputed border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Kabul police department said Saturday that in the past week over 60 criminal incidents have been recorded in the city, which included the murder of two people.

On Thursday, two people were gunned down and killed and another wounded in Kabul’s PD5, police said.
